Clint and Brook Buhler started in 2014, finishing two Longhorn steers for their family and friends. But as word of mouth spread they found a huge demand for great tasting, Premium Finished Longhorn beef.

Growing their business mainly by word of mouth over time, they now ship steers every week (year round) finishing over 200 Longhorn steers annually. 

Longhorn cattle grow at a slower rate than other beef cattle and carry their fat/marbling in the muscle fibres vs a thick layer of fat around the outside of the muscle. 

This process takes time and cannot be rushed, but the results are worth the wait!  All of our steers are grass fed before being finished on a custom designed barley ration to ensure consistency and perfection every time! 

Buhler Beef supports first responders. Police, Fire & EMS save 5% on 1/2's & 1/4's. Be sure to mention it when placing your order.

Free delivery on all orders ($380 and up) within an hour of Nanton, Alberta. Deliveries over an hour away can be easily arranged, with a meeting point that works mutually.

Our freezer van keeps orders frozen for those longer hauls.
